  • Pre-registration is NOT required (but is appreciated)
  • Pencils and Supplies:
    • Please bring at least one #2 pencil with eraser for filling out the test answers, plus a pen for filling out the forms
    • You may bring blank paper for scratch pad
    • You may bring a calculator as long as it is not programmable
    • Log and trig functions are allowed on the calculator if you are taking an advanced test that uses those functions.
  • Test Fee:  $15 cash or check (no credit cards).  Check is preferred
    • If you need to retake a test, you will need to pay an additional $15 for each re-test
    • If you pass an element of the test (for example, the Technician element), and decide to take the next element up, there is no charge for the additional test as long as it is a higher element than the one you just passed
  • Identification
    • If you are a new ham or have an expired ham license, please bring two forms of ID -- one must be a photo ID
    • If you are upgrading, bring a copy of your license or relevant CSCE(s) plus a photo ID
